Mr. Meehan (aka "Trey") received his MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College
(Winter Park, Florida) and his BBA from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia (Athens, Georgia). He has an active Series 65 securities license and he maintains a 2-15 insurance license.
Over the past decade, Trey has become more involved in the small cap and micro cap arenas and prefers working with investment opportunities that remain virtually undiscovered by the investing public through both his private equity and venture capital investments as well as through the writing of equity research and consulting.
Trey is actively involved in the local community and he utilizes Meehan Capital to assist in charitable giving opportunities. He is a member at First Baptist Church of Windermere where he can usually be found on Wednesday evenings herding 25-35 elementary school boys in the Royal Ambassadors program. He is frequently involved as both a financial sponsor and youth football and baseball coach with local youth programs. He founded The Meehan Foundation, a private, not-for-profit foundation dedicated to supporting non-profit organizations that he believes serve a worthy cause. Trey is a Lifetime Member of Empire Who's Who, and has been a speaker, judge and presenter at entreprenuership conferences and colleges, with a particular focus on entreprenuerial programs for business students and speaking with young adults.
